Fundraising for Schools

How Can Schools Support SASH?

Get your whole school or just a class involved in fundraising for SASH with lots of ideas below or choose us as your charity of the year.

  • SING FOR SASH – Organise a choir concert, karaoke night or talent contest
  • SPONSORED EVENT – Walk 2 miles, run 5k, skip for an hour – the world your oyster when it comes to sponsored events
  • BAKE FOR SASH – Hold a bake sale or host a ‘Bake Off’
  • SLEEPOUT FOR SASH – Sleep out overnight with just a sleeping bag and cardboard boxes for protection against the elements
  • READ-A-THON – Read for a set time – not only is this great for fundraising it encourages reading
  • NON-UNIFORM DAY / DRESS UP DAY / DRESS IN GREEN DAY – Ask pupils to donate £1
  • TEACHER GIFT DONATION – Ask pupils to make a donation to charity instead of buying end of year or Christmas gifts, this is easily set up on Parent Pay systems

Every year on the 10th October we recognise ‘World Homeless Day’. On this day we ask our local community to raise awareness of youth homelessness and SASH. We would love for you to get involved too.
