To lead on fundraising activities and campaigns that generate income to support the work of SASH in helping young people avoid homelessness. Work within the local communities that the charity serves to build relationships with key supporters including; corporates and major donors, individual givers and community led organisations to secure revenue.
Reporting to: Communications and Fundraising Manager
Direct reports: Community Fundraiser
Based at: Office (SASH York Office) based and Home Working
Salary: £30,163 per annum
Holidays: 28 days per annum plus bank holidays
Pension: 5% employer contribution pension
As with most charities, the current pandemic has presented many challenges for SASH and we are seeking a highly motivated and personable Senior Fundraiser to maximise our fundraising income and therefore maximise the help we can provide to young people aged 16-25 who are facing homelessness.
We have recently been recognised for the quality of our fundraising, winning Campaign of the Year at the Institute of Fundraising Yorkshire Awards 2020.
Working as part of the Fundraising and Communications Team, the successful candidate will be confident with working under their own initiative as well as part of a team. They will also be expected to demonstrate their commitment to SASH’s values:
