Payroll Giving

Make a difference every pay day and change a young person’s life.

Payroll giving is a simple and cost-effective way for employees to donate to charity through their salary on a tax-free basis each pay day.

Employee Benefits

  • Quick and easy to set up
  • You can be confident that your donations will be transferred safely
  • Donations are deducted from your gross pay
  • No minimum payment
  • Can be a regular monthly donation or a one-off payment (e.g. bonus time)
  • No set up cost for employees
  • Payments can be stopped at any time
  • You can choose whether to share your contact details and keep in touch with the charity

You will pay less tax! The tax relief you get depends on the rate of tax you pay:

To donate £10 to charity it will only cost you:

  • £8 if you’re a basic rate taxpayer
  • £6 if you’re a higher rate taxpayer
  • £5.50 if you’re an additional rate taxpayer

Employer Benefits

  • Allows companies to fulfil their corporate and community social responsibility
  •  Minimum (if any) set up costs to employer
  • Match funding is a great incentive for employees to sign up and generate extra income for SASH
  • Receive regular updates about the amazing work that we do
  • Acknowledging the hybrid working of staff

SASH Benefits

  • A great way to enable SASH to receive regular funds allowing us to budget and make plans for the future
  • No need for us to claim gift aid back as donations are claimed pre-tax
