Tackling the Climbing Walls!
A group of lodgers and ex-lodgers came together to support one another to reach the top of the climbing walls at Harrogate Climbing Centre.
The day was an opportunity for young people currently within SASH to meet with others who have been supported by SASH in the past. To build confidence in themselves and trust in others.
George, one of the young people that took part said: “The climbing wall was great fun. It gave me a chance to meet some new people and to challenge myself”.
Jason, who also attended said: “Thank you very much for today. It was really nice to meet some new people because it’s been hard to see people through lockdown and I really enjoyed the climbing as well – it’s the most exercise I’ve done in a long time and it was nice to do something new”.
After the climbing session everyone had the chance to enjoy some well-earned pizza in the sunshine.
