The SASH Winter Appeal

No young person should think that living on the streets is their safest option.

Unfortunately, this is the reality for many within your community.

Every year, our Winter Appeal helps vulnerable young people in York and North Yorkshire find safety, warmth and support during a time when they need it most.

With your help, SASH can offer more people, like Lilly, the support they need to reach their potential, fulfil their dreams and live happy independent lives. Everyone should feel safe, not just during the winter.

Every winter, hundreds of young people in York and North Yorkshire face the terrifying reality of homelessness. Some have lost their family, others have no safe place to stay after leaving care, some are experiencing family breakdown. The cold winter months make this even more dangerous, but with your support, SASH can give them a chance of a brighter future.
