SASH 30th Anniversary Raffle – Terms & Conditions

Competition dates: Friday 14 August 2026 at 10am – Friday 4 September 2026 at 10am

These Terms & Conditions apply to the SASH 30th Anniversary Raffle hosted by Safe and Sound Homes (SASH) through Raffall.

1. Eligibility

  • The raffle is open to anyone aged 18 or over.

  • Entrants must comply with Raffall's terms and conditions and any eligibility requirements set by the platform.

  • Employees of SASH and anyone directly involved in organising this raffle may not enter.

2. How to enter

  • Tickets cost £5 per entry, unless purchased during a promotional discount period.

  • The raffle will be hosted and administered through Raffall.

  • The raffle opens at 10am on Friday 14 August 2026 and closes at 12 noon on Friday 4 September 2026.

  • A special launch discount will be available for the first 24 hours. The exact offer and ticket price during this period will be displayed on the Raffall competition page.

  • Entrants may purchase multiple tickets, subject to any limits or conditions applied by Raffall.

  • Entries must be received before the closing time to be valid.

3. The prize

There will be one overall winner, who will receive the entire prize bundle, worth over £500.

The prize bundle includes:

Choc Affair

A Chocolate Treats Hamper from Choc Affair.

The hamper is subject to any relevant conditions provided by Choc Affair.

Castle Howard

A Family Day Pass to Castle Howard House and Grounds, consisting of:

  • 2 adult tickets

  • 3 child tickets

The Castle Howard voucher:

  • Is valid until 31 October 2027.

  • Is subject to Castle Howard's House opening times.

  • Is not valid between November and January.

  • Is non-transferable.

  • Has no cash value.

  • Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.

  • Photocopies of the voucher will not be accepted.

  • The winner must contact house@castlehoward.co.uk to arrange their visit, as instructed on the voucher.

The prize is subject to Castle Howard's applicable visitor terms and conditions.

Middleton's Hotel

One night's bed and breakfast in a Comfy Room at Middleton's Hotel.

This stay is subject to availability and must be arranged directly with Middleton's Hotel.

4. Winner

  • There will be one overall winner who will receive the complete prize bundle.

  • The winner will be selected through the Raffall platform following the closing of the raffle.

  • Raffall will notify entrants when the draw has taken place. Entrants should check their Raffall ticket information to see whether they have won.

  • SASH will contact the winner by email using the contact details provided when entering.

  • The winner should respond promptly to SASH so that the prizes can be arranged.

  • If SASH is unable to contact the winner or the winner does not respond within [7 days – confirm], SASH reserves the right to follow Raffall's applicable procedures regarding the prize.

5. Prize arrangements

The individual prizes are provided by Choc Affair, Castle Howard and Middleton's Hotel in support of SASH's 30th anniversary.

SASH will liaise with the winner and the relevant prize providers to arrange fulfilment of the prizes.

Each prize is subject to the individual provider's stated terms, conditions and availability.

The prizes cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise agreed by the relevant prize provider.

No additional costs are included unless expressly stated above. The winner is responsible for any personal travel, food, accommodation or other expenses not specifically included within the prizes.

6. Changes to the promotion

SASH reserves the right to make changes to the promotion only where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control and in accordance with applicable rules and Raffall's terms.

SASH will not make changes that unfairly disadvantage entrants.

7. Personal information

Personal information provided as part of the raffle will be used to administer the promotion and contact the winner.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with SASH's Privacy Policy and Raffall's privacy policy.

By entering the raffle, entrants agree to Raffall's applicable terms and conditions.

8. Organiser

The raffle is organised by:

Safe and Sound Homes (SASH)
A charity supporting young people facing homelessness across York and North Yorkshire.

The raffle is hosted through Raffall, whose terms and conditions also apply to entrants.
