Run the York 10K for SASH!

Join Team SASH at the York 10K, one of the UK’s most scenic city runs and help support young people facing homelessness in York.Since its launch in 2009, the York 10K has grown into one of Yorkshire’s most popular 10k events, offering runners the chance to race through the heart of the city while raising money for young people experiencing homelessness.The race is widely described as one of the most beautiful city runs in the country.The route starts and finishes on Knavesmire Road, close to York Racecourse and takes in some of York’s most iconic landmarks, including:The ancient city wallsClifford’s TowerYork MinsterWhether you’re a seasoned runner or taking on your first 10K, this event offers an unforgettable experience in the heart of the city.SASH has a limited number of charity places available for this year’s race. Tickets are £30 with a suggested fundraising target of £100 to help us continue our work supporting young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in York.

Safe accommodationAccess to ongoing support from counselling to employability advice so they can rebuild their futureStability at a critical time in a young person’s life
