Coronavirus has already taken the lives of thousands – it shouldn’t destroy the future of hundreds of young people. Together, we can make sure that homelessness is never the answer.
With so many of the young people we help fleeing domestic abuse and family breakdown, our expert support workers are predicting a rise in the need for our services after lockdown is lifted. We want young people to know that there is hope and there will be a bright #LifeAfterLockdown for them.
We need your help to raise £50K, ensuring we can run our emergency line and accommodation service after lockdown restrictions are lifted.
With fundraising events being cancelled, we have seen a significant drop in our income. We need to make sure that we are there for these young people and can continue our lifeline emergency accommodation service, Nightstop. £50,000 is what it costs to run Nightstop for 3 months, including the referral line. Help us to support these young people and to make sure that their first experience of homelessness, is their last.
Together, we can prevent youth homelessness after the coronavirus crisis.
“I came into SASH when I was 16. Social services had been involved at home for a while and things weren’t getting any better. When Lockdown is over, things will get better. There are people out there who want to help, you are not alone.”
