Supporting Young People, One Chocolate Bar at a Time
We’re proud to share an inspiring creative partnership that highlights the impact of our work with young people. Through our collaboration with brand and design agency Art Is My Career (AIMC), they were able to offer a paid internship to Eden — a talented young artist who has been supported by SASH for just under 18 months.
A Creative Internship with AIMC
Working closely with Laura Sanderson at AIMC, Eden took part in a multi-week paid internship centred around designing a bespoke chocolate bar wrapper. The bar would later be sold with a percentage of every purchase donated directly to SASH.
Drawing inspiration from the city of York, Eden began by creating a collection of hand-drawn illustrations. These were then carefully lino-cut, scanned, and digitally composed into the final wrapper design. The result is a vibrant celebration of York that also honours the SASH brand and the young people we support.
Supporting Young People, One Chocolate Bar at a Time
The SASH charity chocolate bar is now available to purchase from Choc Affair. With every bar sold, a portion of the proceeds helps us continue providing safe, secure housing and essential support for young people facing homelessness.

“It’s been amazing to build a relationship with the SASH team, Eden was a pleasure to work with, their enthusiasm for the project was quite inspiring. Eden came into the first session with a mind full of ideas and I think the end result is beautiful, and beautifully showcases York as our city.”
