The Sleepout is back!

York’s original and best Sleepout is back for 2019

Our annual Sleepout raises money that comes directly to support our work. This year the event is being held in the grounds of Bootham School and anyone who wants to help homeless young people is welcome!

Every year, SASH helps over 300 young people who are facing the prospect of having nowhere safe to stay. They are extremely vulnerable – in 2018, 40 per cent of those referred to us were just 16 or 17 years old.

Our wonderful volunteer hosts open up their homes to welcome those in need, so that we can provide a safe place to stay and support to find somewhere permanent to live.

But we need to raise vital funds to provide our services, and this is where you come in!
