Lady Lumley’s Sleepout for SASH

Students at Lady Lumley’s school in Pickering slept out in freezing conditions for SASH last Friday.

Head of House Oliver Reynolds organised the sponsored sleepout (in tents!) and 12 students took part on Friday 18 January.

Our colleague Nicky Taylor-Olsson gave a talk on the evening about our work, before the students put their heads down for the night.

The temperature dipped to minus 2 and it snowed!

Mr Reynolds said ‘all of the students had an enjoyable time, and there wasn’t a single complaint muttered, even in the snowy conditions!’

A very impressive effort by all concerned, well done and thank you to everyone who took part!
